 Dutch period

In The Netherlands Darji introduced his unique 'Darji style', marking a radical departure from black and white to multi-coloured images influenced by the Dutch environment. These paintings, with their rich, vibrant colours and flowing lines have been likened to stained glass windows, and often carry a symbolic message.

The images on this page represent only a small selection of Darji's Dutch paintings.
