Welcome to The Darji Expression, showcasing the paintings of leading Indian contemporary artist, Ramesh Darji.

Darji has previously lived in India, his birth place, and The Netherlands whilst currently residing in London, England.  Each country's own unique impression led to his remarkable talent being expressed in three incomparable, yet equally outstanding and refreshing style forms that have come to be known as the Indian, Dutch and English/Fusion Period.

The Indian period was introduced in 1982.  After his first solo exhibition with pen and ink, proving to be a huge success, Darji quickly moved to painting solely on demand of the art collectors.

The Dutch period was introduced after moving to the Netherlands with his Dutch wife, Paula in 1989. His distinctive and colourful expression brought success with international fame.

The English/ Fusion period was introduced upon moving to England in 1998. The latest creative expression seeks to bridge the gap between the East and West.

Darji has had the privilige of showcasing his paintings in many locations, such as India, The Netherlands, England, Switzerland, Singapore, Hong Kong and Belgium.

Darji's paintings are collected and admired worldwide.
